We've just started some bear and lion hunting here in Southern New Mexico.  We've acquired some very nice hounds to hunt with and are trying our hand at catching big game.   Here's some pictures of our Bear catch.  Bear season runs the month of August this year and again starting September 25 through November 15th. Lion season runs October 1st through March 31st statewide with quotas on management areas.  In addition, there are a few year round areas currently open.    Stay tuned here for more big game from Southern New Mexico.
